- "Operator" means HelpTour Agency, operating the Magni brand.
- "Booking" means a reservation confirmed in writing by the Operator.
3.Booking and confirmation
3.1. Bookings can be made through the website (tour page or contact form), by email at magni@helptour.cz, or by phone.
3.2. A booking becomes binding once the Operator sends a written confirmation by email. Please keep the confirmation email — the Customer presents it to the guide at the meeting point.
3.3. Customers are encouraged to provide the name of their Prague hotel so the Operator can contact them on arrival if needed.
3.4. Minimum group size is 2 travelers. Smaller groups (solo travelers) by individual quote.
4.Prices and payment
4.1. Prices are stated in EUR (€) per person and include VAT where applicable under Czech law.
4.2. Quoted prices include: licensed historian-guide, the agreed itinerary, walking commentary, short readings at sites where appropriate.
4.3. Quoted prices do not include: travel insurance, entrance fees to museums and paid sites (unless explicitly stated), meals, intercity transport, accommodation.
4.4. No prepayment is required for standard tours. Payment is settled by bank transfer to the Operator's Czech account, or by online card payment through the website payment gateway. Bank details are stated in the booking confirmation.
4.5. For larger custom tours quoted individually, the Operator may request a deposit; the amount and refundability are stated in the individual quote.
5.Cancellation by the Customer
5.1. Cancellations must be made in writing to magni@helptour.cz, or in urgent cases by mobile phone +420 724 091 762.
5.2. Cancellation fees:
- Prague tours: free cancellation more than 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time; a 20% fee of the total service price applies for later cancellations.
- Day trips outside Prague: free cancellation more than 72 hours before the scheduled meeting time; a 20% fee applies for later cancellations.
- Custom tours: cancellation terms are stated in the individual quote.
5.3. No-shows are treated as last-minute cancellations.
6.Cancellation by the Operator
6.1. The Operator may cancel a tour where the minimum group size is not reached, where weather makes the tour unsafe, where the lead guide is ill, or in case of force majeure (see section 10).
6.2. Where the Operator cancels, the Customer may choose between:
- a full refund of all amounts paid, or
- rescheduling at no additional cost, or
- substitution with a different tour of equal or lesser value (with any price difference refunded).
6.3. The Operator is not liable for ancillary expenses (flights, accommodation, lost income) incurred by the Customer due to such cancellation. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
7.Meeting point
7.1. The meeting point is stated in the booking confirmation email.
7.2. Please arrive 5–7 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. Late arrivals reduce the tour duration; the meeting time is firm out of respect for other group members.
8.Liability and insurance
8.1. Tours involve walking, including on uneven cobblestones, historic streets, and stairs. Customers participate at their own risk and must inform the Operator at booking of any medical conditions, mobility limitations or pregnancy.
8.2. The Operator's liability is limited to the price paid for the tour, except as required by mandatory Czech law.
8.3. Customers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation and personal liability. The Operator does not provide insurance.
8.4. Personal belongings left unattended during a tour are not the Operator's responsibility.
9.Conduct of Customers
9.1. Customers are expected to behave respectfully toward the guide, other group members, and the cultural and religious sites visited. Many of the sites are working religious institutions.
9.2. The Operator reserves the right to terminate participation, without refund, of any Customer whose behavior unreasonably disrupts the tour or endangers themselves or others.
9.3. Photography may be restricted at specific sites (synagogues, churches, memorials); the guide will advise on the day.
10.Personal data
The Operator processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on the processing of personal data. A full description of the data processing is in the Privacy Policy.
11.Force majeure
11.1. Neither party is liable for failure to perform where prevented by force majeure: natural disaster, pandemic, war, civil unrest, government action, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
11.2. Where force majeure prevents a tour, the Operator will offer either a refund (less any unrecoverable third-party costs) or rescheduling.
12.Complaints
12.1. Complaints should be raised first to the guide on tour where possible, and otherwise in writing to magni@helptour.cz, within 30 days of the tour date.
12.2. The Operator aims to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and resolve them within 30 days.
12.3. Disputes that cannot be resolved directly may be referred to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), the competent body for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes in tourism: www.coi.cz. Online dispute resolution is also available via the EU ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13.Governing law
13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
13.2. The Czech-language version of these Terms is the legally binding version. English and German translations are provided for convenience.
13.3. Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.
14.Final provisions
14.1. The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time. Amendments apply to bookings made on or after the effective date of the new version.
14.2. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
14.3. These Terms are effective from 28 May 2026.
